Ballet Bugs

Ballet Bugs is a pre-school ballet class for children ages 1+. The aim is to introduce the very basics of ballet while allowing children to enjoy all the benefits of dancing:

Butterflies involves working towards more complex and balletic movements such as galloping, twirling, being on tiptoes, jumping, etc., while also learning some early disciplines such as waiting for and taking our turn for some of the exercises. We still dance with a lot of props, and the little dancers can still participate with their parent/guardian.

Dragonflies is the final Ballet Bugs class. We explore more complex ballet terminology/movement such as skipping, balancing on one leg, positions of the arms and feet, etc., and we also start to learn short dances which we perform in class. The little dancers participate individually while their parent/guardian watches.

When your little dancer reaches the end of their Ballet Bugs journey, they can move up into our Primary class!
